Shoppers use The ConneXion Point kiosks:
These kiosks let shoppers discover, explore and sample music CDs, DVDs, Audio Books, Audio Bibles, Bible Software and Video Games.
A shopper places the items they want into an on-screen shopping cart. Upon confirming their order, a receipt printer issues a ticket that the shopper takes to the checkout counter.
The shopper kiosk transmits the order to the myMEDIA BurnBar computer, which is typically at the checkout counter. The purchase is first paid for.

The employee scans the ticket barcode with the scanner connected to themyMEDIA BurnBar computer.
Each employee has a unique passcode which is now entered on the screen. This starts the burn process.
A CD or DVD is put in the printer which prints direct to the surface. No paper labels! When cover/back art is needed, this printer also handles that. Multiple CD/DVDs can be burned at the same time.
The correct burner drive tray is automatically opened and the disc is inserted. The tray closes and burns the content. Upon completion, the tray automatically opens and the CD is put in a case.
A patent-pending process completely safeguards the digital content against theft and insures the correct payment for content burned. |
