January 20, 2009 – myMEDIA BurnBar surpasses 200,000 burns.
(NASHVILLE, TN) --- On December 29 Integra Interactive’s myMEDIA BurnBar burn-on-demand kiosk platform surpassed burning 200,000 CDs and DVDs. Content burned included music, audio books, video games and software titles. In its first twelve months of operation, myMEDIA BurnBar burned just under 100,000 discs. It took less than six additional months to hit the 200,000 burned disc mark. “At our current rate of growth, we project burning over 250,000 discs in calendar year 2009,” said David T. Amster, Chief Innovation Officer.” During the past two months the myMEDIA BurnBar platform was upgraded to handle dual-layer DVDs making it possible to burn Logos Bible Software titles. Integra also announced that it had recently signed a digital distribution agreement with Curb Records and agreements with several movie distribution companies. It has also begun signing agreements with publishers for delivering eBooks through the myMEDIA BurnBar platform. More than 320 CBA channel retailers have installed myMEDIA BurnBar. More than 200 vendors and music labels have partnered with Integra Interactive. Integra Interactive Inc. is a digital solutions group with over 1,500 interactive shopper-focused kiosks in nearly 650 Christian stores. It also provides consulting in the discipline of store planning/design. Its team has designed over 900 Christian stores. Integra Interactive is the CBA retailing channel’s largest provider of shopper touchpoint systems with 675 retailers deploying over 1,500 interactive shopper screens. |
